Brian A. Rogers of Ellendale, formerly of Smyrna and Bridgeton, N.J., departed this life on Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009, in Milford Memorial Hospital. He was 37.
Mr. Rogers loved to spend time relaxing with his family and friends, playing paintball, watching wrestling, cartoons and anime, working on import cars and spending time at the beach.
He was preceded in death by his aunt, Margaret Milburn, in September 2007; and his grandmother, Lottie Milburn, in September 2008.
He leaves behind a wife, Diana L. (Carroll) Rogers; three children, Kayla M. Rogers and her mother, Theresa Heath, both of Dover, Zachery M. Lott of Harrington, and Hunter Gonce of Hartly; his parents, Michele and Skip Rogers of Smyrna; a brother and a sister-in-law, Kevin and Annette Ross of New Jersey; his uncle, Donnie Milburn and his paramour, Hope Balcerak, of N.J.; two lifelong friends, Anthony Paolillo and his wife, Michelle, of Lewes; and Scott Rettig and his wife, Nicole, of Harrington; and a host of family and friends.
Services were held Saturday, Feb. 28, at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna..
Burial was private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests monetary donations to Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, DE 19977, to defray funeral expenses.
