Karen,

You lived down the street from me most of our lives.  We played every game you can think of and just talked for hours on end.  The day that I met you we were so young and became fast friends.  As we got older we did not spend as much time together and I have always regretted that.  But we did always talk whenever we saw each other.  Our paths went different ways but our friendship was never far from my heart.

I remember the day that I heard you were gone.  I knew that you had been sick for a very long time but the actual news that you were gone was a blow that I will never forget.  My friend, my sister by choice, I will always remember you fondly.

I would love to be able to talk to you again and just sit and drink juice and talk to your Mom.

Love you my friend,

Lisa

Dear Karen,

We were very young when we met at ballet class. I loved to dance, but you had the real gift; becoming a New York Dance Company's PRIMA BALLERINA, before becoming a famous New York City's Radio City Music Hall Rockette.  I was so proud of you and your accomplishments.  It was an honor to be able to call you my friend.  Even though it's been many years ago, I still think of you and the part of our childhood and the growing up process we shared in Dance classes, at Smyrna Landing, and in the Smyrna Schools all the way through high school.

RIP Karen; you will be forever in my heart.

Phyllis
