SMYRNA - Kenneth J. "Oopie" Marsh of Smyrna, passed away on Thurs., May 19, 2011, at Kent General Hospital in Dover. He was 76. Mr. Marsh was born August 17, 1934, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Andrew and Susan Marsh. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. Mr. Marsh was a member of the Smyrna-Clayton Moose Lodge. His hobbies included camping, carving, woodworking, painting and repairs of any kind. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. He is survived by two sons, Kenny Marsh and his wife Paula of Camden, and Curt Marsh and his fiancée Lisa Larimore of Smyrna; a granddaughter, Jennifer Marsh of Smyrna; his long time friend and companion, Mary Ann Larrimore of Felton; step grandson, Matt Seeman stationed in North Carolina; two brothers; two sisters; and many nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held on Tues., May 24, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel located at 29 South Main Street, Smyrna, DE. Funeral services will begin at 8 p.m. Burial will be private.
