Vera Lowman (Bradford) - Class Of 1969

Vera M. Bradford of Dover, DE passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Kent General Hospital.
She was 60.
Mrs. Bradford was born July 17, 1951 in Dover, DE, the daughter of the late Ray Calvin Lowman and Mabel Madeline McNatt of Smyrna, DE.
Vera worked for many years as a Store Manager for Shore Stop.
She liked to crochet and dance. She was a huge fan of John Wayne, Elvis, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. She also enjoyed going to the train museum in PA with her husband.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Tina and Dave Tsosie; brother-in-law, Stewart Lestz; and her father-in-law, John Bradford.
She is survived by her loving husband of over 30 years, Donald “Doc” Bradford; 2 sons, Nathan and his wife Melissa of Middletown, DE and Eric of Dover; a daughter, Erin also of Dover; a granddaughter, Evelyn Sophia of Middletown; 4 sisters, Kay Brandt and her husband Dave of Florida, Teresa Iosbaker and her husband Henry of Smyrna, Debra Lestz of Dover, and Donya Cox and her husband Robert of Middletown; her “sister”, Rita Szymanski and her husband Dan of Hartly, DE; 3 special friends, Pat and Paul McGinnis, and Lynn Atkin; and a number of nieces, nephews, in-laws, and extended family members.
A viewing will be held on Friday, June 8, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main St., Smyrna. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m.
Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Smyrna, DE.
