Robert Rafael Pizarro - Class Of 2004

Robert R. “Robby” Pizarro, 27, of Clayton, DE passed away unexpectedly on December 27, 2012.

He was born on August 6, 1985, son of Angel and Lisa Pizarro.

Robby had been working for Savage in Delaware City. Prior to entering the workforce, Robby attended Middletown High School, before transferring to Smyrna High School and graduating as a member of the Class of 2004.
His interests were varied and ever growing. He excelled in baseball for both Middletown and Smyrna High, a talent he first developed while playing in the Smyrna-Clayton Little League. Robby had an affinity for cars and motorcycles, a love he shared with his father. Robby was hard working and would take on anything he set his mind to do. He would spend hours along side his father working on cars, either as a service to others, or as a personal hobby. Along with his father, Robby spent the majority of his time with his loving fiancé, Rachel and his loyal pal, Drake. Together, they enjoyed movies, dinners, seeing friends and family, and spending time together in their home. Robby had many friends and family with whom he enjoyed fishing, playing video games, going for rides, talking, laughing, and cracking jokes, which accompanied his one of a kind grin. He was a devoted son, brother, fiancé, and friend who will be loved and missed by all those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Robby was preceded in death by his mother, Lisa Pizarro and his maternal grandmother, Joan Frazier.

He is survived by his father, Angel Pizarro; brother, Justin Pizarro, fiancé, Rachel Hudson; his dog, Drake; three beautiful nieces, Braylin, Jadyn, and Jordan Pizarro; paternal grandparents, Rafael and Anastasia Pizarro; maternal grandfather, Jim Frazier and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial service celebrating Robby’s life will be held 12 noon on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Smyrna Wesleyan Church, 433 W. Commerce Street in Smyrna, where friends may visit with his family two hours prior to services on Saturday and from 6:00-9:00 pm on Friday evening.
