Most of us had never experienced what we did in 1985. Alan was a friend and he was the oldest of most of us at that time when we hung out together. I will never forget it and till this day, I will never forget his family. From all that knew him and associated with him, God bless and he will never be forgotten.
Alan was one of the happiest, fun-loving people I have ever known. It was such a shock to all of us to hear what had happened. Like Tommy said, most of us had never experienced anything like that. I will never forget Alan and my heart still goes out to his family.
I still remember him as if it were yesterday. I think about him often. I have lots of memories of Alan, but my favorite is how he use to get me in trouble by unplugging my typewritter during our timed test. He was a great friend to everyone and had the best smile.
