Willard H. Phillips, 51, of Hixson, died Tuesday, March 11, 2003, in an area hospital.

He was an Army veteran and was employed with Rock-Tenn Paper Mill for over 25 years. He was a graduate of Soddy-Daisy High School.

Survivors include his wife, Rhona Phillips of Hixson; daughters, Jenny Phillips of Chattanooga and Amanda Phillips of Hixson; brothers, Tom Phillips of Bartlett, Tenn., and Steve Phillips of Dunlap, Tenn.; and sisters, Linda Hayes of Rossville and Marlyn Fry of Riceville, Tenn.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Melvin Walker officiating.

Burial will be in East Soddy Church of God Cemetery.
