Louise M. Canuel, 67, of Somerset, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2016 at her residence in Eugene Murphy Village. Louise was born in Fall River the daughter of the late Albert J. and Irene M. (Levigne) Canuel. She was a graduate of Somerset High School class of 1968. Ms. Canuel then worked in data entry department at AETNA Life Insurance in Fall River for sixteen years. She was a very active communicant at Saint Louis de France Church in Swansea. Louise also volunteered at Saint Anne s Hospital in the pain clinic and diagnostics departments. Survivors are a cousin: Fabien Canuel of Somerset and a close family friend: Norman Fontaine of Swan sea; She was the sister of the late Claudette Canuel-Lawton. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 15, 2016 from 8:30-9:30am in the Hathaway Community Home for Fun erals, 900 Buffinton Street, Somerset, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10am in Saint Louis de France Church, 56 Buffington Street, Swansea, relatives and friends are invited to attend, burial to follow in Saint Patrick Cemetery Somerset.
