Jay was a good childhood friend, classmate and teammate.  He was one of the guys that hung around the basketball courts at Pottersville when we were young.  Unfortunately we have lost many of these Pottersville ” kids”.  Rest In Peace Jay

Great athlete and a funny and smart guy.  Played against him in Little League when the South division played the Pierce.  Glad to have been a friend in high school.  RIP Jay.

Jay was one of the first guys that I became friends with when I moved to Somerset during my sophmore year. We were close all through high school and his college years. When he moved back to Somerset he would always stop by my house if he saw me outside or I would go by his house after a snow storm to plow his driveway for him. I am going to miss him. Somerset has lost one of the nicest persons that I have ever known. R.I.P my dear friend.

I am so sad to hear this news. Jay was a quality person who always had a kind word and a smile to share whenever we crossed paths. He shall be remembered as a caring individual and a good friend. RIP Jay.

So sorry to hear about Jay. Great person. I remember him, after not seeing him for many years, working the restaurant at the center of town. Always funny and personable. Rest in peace, my friend

Jay and I and Bud Langfield and Steve Sabra hung out together, Jay took the bus to school with me, until we got our licences. I sat with him at our 40th reunion, he was a good friend and a lot of fun. Remember his orange 68 corvette? May he have found peace where he is now.
