Marie Susan Ahern (Schlimper)  10/22/50 - 12/22/15    Age 65

Marie Susan (Schlimper) Ahern of Fort Myers, fl. Passed away December 22, 2015 after a long battle with COPD. She was born in Somerset, Ma. She married Edmund F Ahern Jr. (West Roxbury, Ma.) in 1971. She settled in West Roxbury and raised two remarkable boys. Michael F Ahern of Attleboro Ma. and Edmund F. Ahern III. Of Orlando, Fl., Marie was active in scouting her whole life. First as a Girl Scout and a Girl Scout leader in Somerset, Ma. In West Roxbury Marie became involved with the Boy Scouts as she followed her boys. Marie was a detail oriented worker who handled payroll records for a national temporary employment agency. When Marie retired at the end of 2006 she was able to leave the Ice and Snow behind and move to Fort Myers. Health problems prevented Marie from playing golf and walking in the sun but she spent many wonderful hours watching the golfing world pass by her pool.
