James J. “Big Jim” Sousa., 49, of Harmon Avenue in Somerset passed away suddenly October 28, 2005 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. He was the husband of twenty nine years to Suzanne (Levesque) Sousa. Born in Fall River, MA on May 19, 1956 the son of Helen (Davis) Sousa of Somerset, MA and the late Joseph Sousa.
Mr. Sousa was a graduate of Somerset High School class of 1974 after graduation he worked as a mechanic for Fisher Bus Company for a few years, and then went to work for the Town of Somerset for twenty years as a foreman with the Highway Department. He enjoyed Harley Davidson Motorcycles and spending time with his family.
Survivors beside his mother and wife are three daughters Christine A. Costa of Tiverton, RI Jennifer L. Wordell of Somerset, MA Melissa L. Sousa of Soemrset, MA a son James J. Sousa of Somerset, MA a sister Sharon Sousa of Somerset, MA four grandchildren.
