JULIA DIMARZIO
AGE: 71 SOMERSET
Julia DiMarzio, 71, died Sunday, April 19, 2009. Mrs. DiMarzio was born in Staten island and moved to Somerset NJ in 1976. She was employed by Franklin Township Schools for 26 years and until recently assisted on a part time basis. Mrs. DlMarzio enjoyed spending time with her children. She also took great pleasure in spending time with her grandchildren and cooking for her family.
Mrs. DiMarzio was predeceased by her husband Giuseppe (Joseph) in 2001. She was also predeceased by her brother, Michael Russo Jr. and sister, Carmela Fittanto. She is survived by her children, Maria DiMarzio, Florindo DiMarzio and his wife Renee, Roseanna DiMarzio-Compeau and her husband Richard Compeau, and Josephine DiMarzio. She is survived by her beloved grandchildren, Christina, Nicholas, and Daniel. She is also survived by her brother Rocco Russo and his wife Diane of PA; her brother, John Russo of Forked River and her sister, Rosemarie Russo of Staten Island.
Funeral services will take place on Friday, April 24, 2009 at 8:30 a.m. at Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton St., Somerset NJ followed by a 9:00 a.m. funeral mass at St. Matthias RC Church in Somerset. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
