DEBORAH A. FRANZYSHEN
AGE: 51 SOMERSET
Deborah A. Franzyshen, 51, entered into eternal rest on Thursday at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Mrs. Franzyshen was born in Paterson and lived in East Brunswick before moving to Somerset over 40 years ago. She was a longtime member of Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church in South Bound Brook. Mrs. Franzyshen was formerly employed by Federal Express in Somerset as a Customer Service Representative. She was a former member and Past President of the South Bound Brook First Aid Squad and also a former member of the East Millstone First Aid Squad. She was also a member of the Somerset Medical Center Mobile Intensive Care Unit.
Mrs. Franzyshen is survived by her husband of 26 years, Stanley Franzyshen Jr. of Somerset; and her children, Eric Franzyshen and Wendy Franzyshen, both of Somerset. She is also survived by her mother, Lois Phelan; and her brother, Richard Phelan.
A Funeral Mass will take place on Monday at 9:30am at Our Lady of Mercy Church in South Bound Brook. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway. Friends and family may call from 2-4 and 7-9 on Sunday at the Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton Street in Somerset. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mrs. Franzyshen's name may be made to the
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 USA.
