Dorothy Margaret Francis SOMERSET- Dorothy Margaret Francis, 86, of Somerset NJ entered into eternal rest on Monday, April 4, 2011 in Somerset Medical Center in Somerville, NJ. Margaret was born in New Brunswick, NJ on May 24, 1924. She married Robert Francis on Sept. 9, 1950 and they raised their family in Somerset, NJ. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a secretary at Sampson G. Smith Intermediate School in Franklin Township, NJ and retired in June 1987 after 23 years of service. Margaret was predeceased by her parents, John and Madeline, brothers, John, Lenny, Cliff and Bob; sister, Nancy and her loving husband Robert. She is survived by two brothers, Ken Delanoy and wife Barbara and Donald Delanoy and his wife Marge; daughter, Eileen Walsh and her husband Jay of Ewing, NJ; son, William Francis of Clinton, NJ; son, Robert Francis of Somerset, NJ; daughter, Sally and husband Bob of Clermont, FL; five grandchildren, Adriene, Meghan, Andrew, Brian and Richard, and four great-grandchildren, Leah, Owen, Riley and Olivia. The visitation will be held on Thursday, April 7, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton St., Somerset, NJ. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. Matthias Church, 168 JFK Blvd., Somerset, NJ. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Rt. 27, New Brunswick, NJ.
