Gary K. Hooper went to be with our Lord on May 5, 2011. He was born in New Brunswick, NJ, raised in Somerset, NJ, and moved to Easton, PA in 1988. He was a graduate of Franklin High School in Somerset, NJ and obtained his B.S. Degree in Mathematics from William Patterson College. He was employed with Johnson and Johnson, Copeland Company, Citigroup, IBM and Vanguard as an IT Director. He was a member of the Psi Kappa Nu fraternity.
Gary was predeceased by his Father and Mother, Samuel, Sr. and Mary Frances Hooper, and his brother Samuel, Jr. Surviving are his brother Melvin and wife Carolyn of Middletown, NJ, sisters Marilyn of Somerset NJ, and Bernice Adams of Atlanta, GA, daughter Brianna of Easton, PA, nephews Sam, III, Sheldon of Trenton, NJ, nieces Devin and Darla Price of NYC, Yvette Saulnier of Newark, NJ and Arsan Saulnier of Atlanta, GA, aunts Mildred Hooper of Somerset, NJ, Willie Mae White of Columbus, MS and a host of cousins and godchildren.
A Homegoing Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, May 15, 2011 at 1:00pm under the spiritual guidance of Pastor John Schenck, at Maranatha Baptist Church (Fire Station), 21 Olcott Street, Somerset, NJ 08873. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in the name of Gary K.
