Derrill W. Dickerson

Went to college (Parsons College, Fairfield, IA) along with Dale Thomas for two years. Not the right time for more schooling, so joined USAF. Served 2 tours in Viet Nam, retired after 20 years in Colorado Springs, Colorado as a MSgt (E7). Graduated BS Univ of Colorado Colorado Springs in 1998. Joined BFGoodrich Aerospace, Carbon Development Division in Colorado. Retired early in 2006 due to disability (VA and SS both at 100% due to service in Viet Nam). Currently based in South Dakota for legal address - sold home in Colorado and now full timing in RV. Plan to settle down in next few years somewhere on the gulf coast or ...

Never attended any class reunions due time or location difficulities. Did visit with Bernie DiNardi one time while in NYC on extended business travel.

New in area in 1961, having moved from Chatham, attending a large intergrated high school was an eye opening experience. In freshman year met and dated the same lovely young lady for most of the following four years. Unfortunatly never saw or heard from her since going to college. Amazing to spend that much time with someone and then losing total contact has always bothered me, and any efforts to locate her have been fruitless. All things happen for a reason...
