In Memory

Mr. William Krull (Teacher)

Kathy Palfey:Jan 30 2004 One of my favorite teachers from Franklin passed away on 1/27/04. Mr William Krull taught history here for 36 yrs and was an awesome man. I usually emailed him once a year to say hello and will miss our yearly chats. Rest in peace, Mr. Krull.

Kevin Spencer:Feb 24 2004 I had Mr. Krull for history twice. He was a great guy . He will be missed. I am sorry to hear this. Suzan Atatimur:Mar 09 2004 I am so sad to hear this news. What a gentle and kind man and a wonderful teacher. I had him in my freshman year and I remember he was very soft spoken and I loved his class. I will always remember that.

Anne Cohen:Mar 12 2004 I was very upset, when I heard about Mr. Krull. I had him too. I really enjoyed his class. Besides Mr. Sapala, Mr. Krull was also one of my many favorite teachers. Anne Marina Carroll:Jun 27 2004 Nick Buro now Mr. Krull. Both too young, but in their short lives they touched many.

Andrew Holzheimer :Jun 28 2004 Only the good die young, they say. Chet Varner just retired too, after having a heart attack last year. When you get the chance on a visit back home, stop in at the High School and say hello to some of the teachers that are still there. They really appreciate seeing Alumni too.

Lee Sussman:May 24 2005 07:09am I had Mr. Krull my freshman year. Not only was he a great teacher but he was a nice man too who always took time to talk. He will be missed.

Suzan Atatimur :Jan 05 2006 10:54pm 1/06/06 I was reading my Local Newspaper the Hillsborough Beacon, Mr. Krull's son, 35 years old, passed away on 12/22/05. So sad to read that.......

Sheila Beja 1973:Mar 22 2008 I was sorry to hear that Mr. Krull passed away. I had him for history in the early seventies. I remember he always had history B's and I was excused from many tests because I often was the winner. He recommended me for membership in the National Honor Society. I hadn't kept in touch with any of my teachers or fellow classmates since graduating in 1973 and attending school and later settling down in the Washington DC area. Time reallyflies and I didn't think he was that old. He was a great teacher and I'm sure he will be missed by many of his former students.

Mr. Krull was one of my favorite teachers both my sister and I had him for history class. He always listened to my stories and we always shared a laugh. What I remember most is how he always wanted to have fun  with his students and always encouraged us to enjoy life.
