Shaunaire Maurette Thomas

Shaunaire Maurette Thomas was born October 19, 1975 to John and the late Marion Thomas. She was an active congregant and member of the choir of First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens in Somerset. Shaunaire was a graduate of Franklin High School, where she also sang in the choir and performed in several musicals. She continued her studies at Westminster Choir College. Ms. Thomas was a dedicated and nurturing nanny, who touched the lives of the children and families assisted. Shaunaire's beautiful voice and loving presence will be greatly missed.

She leaves to cherish her memory her cousin and foster daughter, Devona Todd; her father, John Thomas; a brother, John Thomas Jr.; her nieces, Janelle Blessed Thomas and Joi Miracle Thomas, and a host of many loving friends and family.

Visitation will be between 10 am and noon Saturday, July 14th 2012 at Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton St., Somerset, NJ 08873, with the funeral service to begin at 11:30.
