Audrey Kish Lechner

AGE: 64 • Formerly of Somerset

Audrey Kish Lechner of Escondido, California, formerly of Somerset, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2011. She was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey on February 8, 1947. Audrey was a devout Roman Catholic and was very active in serving her church, The Church of The Resurrection, Escondido. She was a Communion Server, a Member of the Legion of Mary, and would provide rides to Church Members who needed transportation for Medical Visits.

Audrey was PreDeceased by her Parents Mr. Louis R. Kish, Jr. and Mary Sicora Kish, of Somerset, New Jersey. She is survived by her Daughters, Aimee Lynn Lechner of Escondido, and Charlene Lechner of Oklahoma, by Granddaughters Angelica and Shyanna and Grandsons Shawn, Chris, and Shane. She is also survived by a Sister, Ms. Karen Kish-McGregor and her husband Terry of Fremont, California, their children Matthew, Mark, and Katherine, and a Brother, Michael Kish Sr. and his wife Kathleen of Franklin Park, New Jersey, and their son Michael Kish, Jr. Audrey is also survived by many Uncles, Aunts and Cousins as her Mother's Family Sicora consisted of 10 Uncles and Aunts and her Father's Family Kish consisted of 9 Uncles and Aunts, and there were 45 First Cousins. Audrey was a Graduate of the Berkeley Secretarial School, East Orange, New Jersey and Franklin Township High School, Somerset, New Jersey. Audrey worked as an Administrative Assistant at FBI Headquarters, Washington, DC, at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey and The National Headquarters of the Boy Scouts of America, North Brunswick, New Jersey. Audrey moved to California in 1972, married and was blessed with two daughters. She was always ready to help others and do whatever she could to make other peoples lives better. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Cousin, and will be missed by all who knew her.

Steven A. Mesterhazi (1965)

Audrey was in the class of 1964, not 1964.  She was in my class.
