Daniel Lee Calvo

Somerset

Born in Princeton, Mr. Daniel Calvo was a lifelong Somerset resident and 1996 graduate of Franklin high school. He was a member of Local Union #472, and employed at New Journey Recycling in Middlesex. Danny played baseball in the New Brunswick Men's League. He was an avid Red Sox and Eagles fan, and loved to hang out with his close family and friends.

Mr. Calvo was predeceased by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Henry and Deborah Karwoski.

A loving husband, father, son, brother, and uncle, Danny is survived by his wife, Brianne Calvo, and their children Gavin and Presley; by his parents, Herman and Diane Calvo; his sister, Kelly Palmer of New Hampshire; his brother, Chris Calvo and his wife Malisa; his sister, Amber Sicak and her partner Jennifer Grippo of Heightstown; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Michele and Fred Kirsch of Pittstown and Rickey and Cindy Karwoski of Somerset; and his nieces and nephews, Julia, Gregory, Corey, Ashley, Hannah, Brooke, Alyssa, Krista, Jonathan, Hailey, Zoe, Hunter, and Ryder.

A funeral service will take place Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. at the Gleason Funeral Home 1360 Hamilton St. Somerset, NJ 08873 - (732) 545-0700. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-9 at the funeral home. Please, in lieu of flowers, consider memorial contributions for the education of Mr. Calvo's children.
