Denise "Niecie" Franklin

Denise "Niecie" Franklin, age 57, of Piscataway, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012 at St. Peter's Medical Center, New Brunswick, NJ. Born on June 26, 1955 in New Brunswick, she resided in the Somerset area most of her life before moving to Piscataway 20 years ago. A graduate of Franklin High School, she also attended Rutgers University and Livingston College. She was an Office Manager at AAA Storage Depot in South Plainfield and a faithful member and teacher in the Children's Ministry at Faith Fellowship Ministries in Sayreville.

Denise was predeceased by her mother, Annie Mae Franklin in 2000. She is survived by her father, Harry Franklin Jr.; one brother, Larry C. Franklin and his wife Shirlin; three sisters, Wanda L. Franklin, Melody T. Franklin, Dawn P. Davidson and her husband Vincent; ten nieces and nephews, two great-nephews, a host of cousins and loving friends.

Home-going celebration will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 16, at 11a.m. at Faith Fellowship Ministries, 2707 Main St., Sayreville. Interment will follow at Franklin Memorial Park. Viewing will be from 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the Church on Tuesday, Oct. 16. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Denise's name to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to Anderson Funeral Service, 201 Sandford St., New Brunswick.
