April 16, 1945 - February 21, 2014
Passed away peacefully on Feb 21, 2014. He is survived by numerous friends and his l oving family; his wife, Marion of Castle Rock, two daughters; Kim (Tom) Ziarek and Marianne (Sean) Surma, two sons; David (Christy) Michals and Tom Michals, six grandchildren Jimmy Kawczynski, Ali Ziarek, Adam Michals, Josh Michals, William Michals and Tommy Michals, and a sister, Diane Zyskowski. He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Grace Surma and his brother Jay Surma. Mr. Surma served his country proudly in the United States Army. His service will be recognized Monday February 24 at 4 pm during his visitation by the U.S. Army Honor Guard.
