AGE: 83 • Bridgewater

Kenneth L. Adams, 83, died June 5, 2011. Kenneth was born and raised in Hutchinson, Kansas and formerly of Bridgewater and White House before moving to Warrington, PA six years ago. He began his career at Bound Brook High School as a history teacher and guidance counselor. In 1960 at the newly built Franklin High School, he became the first Guidance Director and spent the majority of his tenure as the Vice Principal retiring in 1990. In Kansas, Kenneth graduated from Wichita State with a Bachelor's degree in economics and earned a Master's degree in Education from Pittsburg State. After moving east, Kenneth pursued his graduate studies at Columbia University. He was a WWII veteran of the US Army where he was a Master Sergeant in the judicial government services in Korea and continued in the Army Reserves after discharge. He was a member of the Christian Church in KS and attended the Pluckemin Presbyterian Church in NJ. He was also a member of the NJEA, past president of the Franklin Township Teachers Union, an Eagle Scout, and a Boy Scout leader. Kenneth was an avid reader, stamp and coin collector and enjoyed gardening. He is sadly missed by his family and friends.

Surviving are his devoted wife of 58 years, Luba, his son Mark, his daughter-in-law Patti, and his grandchildren, David and Kelly.
