Bona C. "Bonnie" Arrington, 50, died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2005, at Saint Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick.

Born in Bartow, Fla., she relocated to Somerset 45 years ago and was a lifelong resident of Somerset. She was formerly a nurse's assistant at Somerset Manor Care Center in Somerset. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens in Somerset.

She was predeceased by her parents, Ernest and Altamease Lindsey, and a sister, Sharon Lindsey. Survivors include her husband, Myron Arrington of Mississippi; two daughters, Bonita Lee of North Brunswick and Chenalle Lee of New Brunswick; a son, Kelvin Lindsey and his wife, Shawna Lindsey, of Lithonia, Ga.; five sisters, Vernita "Cookie" Lindsey of Somerset, Normarie Lindsey of North Brunswick, Maxine Sims and Virginia Singleton, both of Tampa, Fla., and Loretta Burns of Texas; two brothers, Ernest Lindsey Jr. of New Brunswick and Robert Lindsey of Jamaica, West Indies; and three grandchildren, Kelyce and Kaylarose Lindsey of Lithonia, Ga., and Destani Gourdine of New Brunswick.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens, 771 Somerset St., Somerset. Visitation will be 9 a.m.-11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be at Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick. Arrangements are by Anderson Funeral Service, New Brunswick.
