David Byerley
David F. Byerley of Flemington died on Monday, Aug. 19, 2013, at the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He was 67 years old.
Mr. Byerley was born in New Brunswick and had lived in Franklin Township before moving to Flemington in 1987. He was the owner and president of Dave’s Suburban Disposal Service for 48 years. The company is currently located in Hillsborough. David enjoyed traveling and camping in his RV and he was a NASCAR fan. He was a lifetime member of East Franklin Volunteer Fire Department.
He was pre-deceased by his parents, Richard “Slim” Byerley in 2012 and Rosalind “Rose” Shulas Byerley in 2003.
David is survived by his wife of 44 years, Elizabeth Fannon Byerley of Flemington; and his daughters, Jill Byerley of Flemington and Janette Byerley-Inglee and her husband Griff of Robbinsville. He is also survived by his siblings: Richard “Sug” Byerley and his wife Nancy of Cuba, N.Y., and Valerie Mont of Felton, Del.; and his two grandchildren, Reagan and Carter David.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24, at the Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton St., in Somerset. Interment will follow at St. Peter Cemetery in New Brunswick. Visitation will be on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 at the funeral home
