Delores Brown, age (61) passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 10:20 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Home in Atlanta, GA. Born in Harrisburg, PA on May 15, 1954, Delores was the beloved daughter of William Ollie Barber and Juanita Dolphin. Delores also is the loving daughter of her predeceased “special” parents Johnny B. and Ida Payton. Delores was the epitome of a loving daughter. Affectionately known as “Dee”, she was reared and educated from Franklin High School in New Jersey in 1972, and attended Middlesex County College, and received an Associate of Applied Science degree in Marketing with a concentration in Business (1979). She later attended Rutgers University and received a Bachelors of Arts in Economics with a Concentration in Business Administration (1986). Always the inquisitive one, Delores went back and received a second Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from East Carolina University in Accounting (2004). “Dee” was employed by Automatic Data Processing in Alpharetta, GA, where she served dutifully for eight years as a Solution Center Consultant II.
Delores was a dedicated Christian, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, and Aunt. She was a warm, kind, compassionate, loyal, and devoted friend to many and she will be fondly remembered as having a smile for everyone. She always had a cheerful disposition and was always a free-spirit. Her faith in God was so strong and she held on to it throughout this journey. 
In addition to her parents, Delores leaves behind her loving and faithful daughter, Mrs. Talesha E. Johnson (Ellenwood, GA) and her husband Davin Johnson. One beautiful grand-daughter, Jonesha Davis (Tuskegee, AL) and a host of friends, cousins, nieces and nephews. She leaves behind her beloved siblings, Arnita Dolphin (North Carolina), Phyllis Ross (North Carolina), Demita Farrow (North Carolina), a predeceased sister (Jolanda Hill) and one brother Phillip Dolphin (North Carolina) (and his wife Andre Dolphin). The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to everyone for their dedication, love and support shown to Delores during her final days. The funeral services will be held at Gregory B. Levett Funeral Home. Interment at Kennedy Memorial Cemetery and repass in the banquet hall of Gregory B. Levett & Sons Funeral Homes 4347 Flat Shoals Parkway, Decatur, GA 30034.
