Michael Rahalewicz

Michael Rahalewicz, age 42, of Somerset passed away at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale, Pennsylvania. Born in New Brunswick, he has resided in Somerset most of his life. Mr. Rahalewicz was employed by Public Service Electric & Gas Company in Plainfield for the past 7 years. He was a member of Saint Euphrosynia Belarus Orthodox Church in South River. He is predeceased by his mother Valentina Zacharkiewicz Rahalewicz in 1996. Surviving are his father Serge Rahalewicz, his sister Laura Moley and her husband Francis and his nieces Emma and Sarah Moley all of Somerset.

Funeral services will be held Friday 9:30am from the Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Avenue South River, followed by a 10am service at Saint Euphrosynia Belarus Orthodox Church in South River with burial to follow at Saint Euphrosynia Cemetery, South River. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Thursday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. Panahida service with choir will be held Thursday 7pm at the funeral home.
