Walter “Max” Nestvogel, 53, of Huntersville, NC died suddenly on Thursday September 4, 2014. Max was born January 24, 1961 in Rockville Center, NY to Walter and Joan Larsen Nestvogel.

Max loved his family and spending time at the beach. He was a lifelong fisherman and successfully completed a Grand Slam in fishing. Max enjoyed playing golf, was a “master chef” and an avid sports fan, along with following his favorite University of Georgia football team. Max was currently a Real Estate Broker for Helen Adams in Huntersville.

Along with his parents, Max is survived by his loving family; wife, Ann Marie Toland Nestvogel; daughter, Debbie Nestvogel; son, Kevin Max Nestvogel all Huntersville; sister, Heidi Kearnen; brother, John Nestvogel.

Funeral services will be held on Monday September 8, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:00 -2:00 prior to the service.
