William Dumas dies at 19, victim of automobile accident

NORTH BRUNSWICK- William Dumas, 19, of Hermann Road, died as a result of injuries he sustained in a car-truck crash Thursday morning on Route 287, Bound Brook.
The car Dumas was driving reportedly swerved into the back of a parked tractor-trailer truck just before 5 a.m. Thursday.
Born in Wilmington, Del., he resided in Franklin most of his life before moving to North Brunswick.
He was a student at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, and was a 1982 graduate of Franklin High School.
He was a member of the Franklin High School Marching Band and the school's wrestling team.
Surviving are his mother, Patricia Hagan Dumas, with whom he lived; his father, Robert H. Dumas of New Providence; a brother, Robert H. of New Providence; and a sister, Michelle D. Juzwiak of South Bound Brook.
Services will be held Monday at 8:30 a.m. from Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton St., in the Somerset section of Franklin Town ship, followed by a 9 a.m. Funeral Mass at SS. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Somerset.
Burial will be held in New Providence Presbyterian Cemetery.
Contributions should be made to the Franklin High School Marching Band.
