William Feaster
New Brunswick - William L. Feaster, 63, died Thursday, June 7, 2018 at home. Born in New Brunswick, he grew up in Franklin Township, moving to New Brunswick when he got married in 1985. He was employed by the Laborers Union, Local No. 156, New Brunswick for over 30 years before retiring in 2005. He was a communicant of St. Mary of Mt. Virgin R.C. Church, New Brunswick. Bill was a longtime member of the Eagles Athletic Club, New Brunswick and the Bound Brook - Somerset Moose Lodge No. 988. He was a lifelong Yankees and Jets fan. After retirement he was a challenger for the New Brunswick Democratic Organization. Bill enjoyed golfing, going to the racetrack, and summer vacations with his family at Midway Beach where he was known as the King Crabber or as he would say "The best crabber in the State of New Jersey". He was predeceased by his parents, Edward G. and Irene J. (Demetzky) Feaster, Sr. Surviving are his wife, Mary (Meister) Feaster; his daughter, Catherine Ann Feaster of New Brunswick; 3 brothers, Richard A. Feaster and his wife, Kathleen and their children, Elizabeth and Matthew all of Somerset, Edward G. Feaster, Jr. and his wife, Theresa and their children, April Sprigle and her husband, Rick, and Edward G. Feaster, III and his wife, Jennifer all of Florida, and Gary C. Feaster and his companion, Marilyn; and several great nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm Tuesday at the Quackenboss Funeral Home, 156 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick.
