Robert DeVaughn Wright, 21, of Somerset, N.J., passed away on Aug. 20, 2014, in Lakewood, Wash.
Viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 29, 2014, at First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens, 771 Somerset St., Somerset. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at church. Burial will be held at Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick, N.J. Arrangements are by Anderson Funeral Service, New Brunswick, N.J.
Born in New Brunswick, Robert was a graduate of Franklin High School, Somerset, and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his daughter, Payton Nicole Wright; parents, Robert C. Stanley and Cheryl L. Wright; two siblings, Leilani A. Brown and Ibn Wright-Jackson; grandparents, Theodore Wright Sr. and Kim Wright; uncle and aunt, Theodore Jr. and Susan Wright, and a host of aunts, uncles, and other relatives.
