Sandra Elizabeth Whittle, age 57, affectionately known as Sandy, San, and Aunt Sandy, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, April 13, 2019, at Grady Memorial Hospital, Atlanta, GA. She was born August 17, 1961, in Fort Wayne, IN, to Willard (deceased) and Doris (Brown) Whittle of Duluth, GA.  She was a 1979 graduate of Franklin High School, Somerset, NJ. Smith Jr. High School in Somerset, NJ specializing in special education. Later as a Supervisor with Big Lots, and Ross department stores after relocating to Atlanta, GA where she displayed a wonderful knack for customer service and managing people.  Sandy truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; relaxing while watching Lifetime TV, chatting with friends and family, eating her favorite dish (macaroni and cheese), and spending time with her nieces and nephew. Sandy always had a smile on her face and had a love for children. She was also an avid dog lover, she was never without a dog and cared for them deeply.  She had an uncanny ability to connect with so many people. To know her was to love and admire her.   A beloved Daughter, Sister, and Aunt, she will always hold a special place in the hearts of her loving family.

She is survived by her mother Doris Whittle, of Duluth, GA; Brother Rod Whittle of Lawrenceville, GA; and his daughters Sydney Whittle of Lawrenceville, GA; Shaundolyn Whittle of Duluth, GA, and her son, Jeremiah Smile of Brocton, MA. Brother Wayne Whittle, his wife Deidre and their daughter Shani Whittle and son Anthony Smith of Montpelier, VA; Kenneth Nichols, her life companion of 19 years, of Atlanta, GA; and a host of cousins, aunts, and uncles.  She was predeceased by her father Willard L. Whittle.
