THE LIFE STORY

Samaad Zaire Frazier was born on June 21, 2000 at Elizabeth General Hospital in Elizabeth, NJ to Kimberly J Banks and Malachi S Frazier.  Samaad was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday December 31st, 2019.

Samaad was educated by the Franklin Township school system graduating in 2018 from Franklin High School. Samaad’s love of basketball began at the age of 5.  From the beginning he was an advanced star player winning many trophies throughout his life. He won many championships in tournaments playing for Newark Project Pride, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Union, school teams and many other AAU teams. As much as Samaad accomplished in basketball he was just as gifted in his school studies. He was respected and loved by his teachers.

Samaad was popular in school and made a lot of friends. Even though he was soft spoken he touched a lot of people. He was loved by many because of his sense of humor, loyalty and passion for friends and family. He spent a lot of time goofing off with his crew THE FAMILY-Terrod, Tayo, Tyree, Dom, Davon, Davay, Quincy, Danny, Omar, Obrian, and Syed.

Left to Cherish his memories are his mother Kimberly Banks, his father Malachi Frazier, three brothers Jamal Dennard Jr, Nyle McEachin and Malachi Frazier Jr, one sister Samiyah Frazier, maternal grandmother Cassandra Manuel, paternal grandmother Sharon Frazier, and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
