Shelia Yvonne Spencer Goodwin ascended on her wings the morning of June 4, 2014 after battling a long illness. Shelia resided in Franklin Park, NJ where she served as a special education teacher for the Franklin Township Public School District for over 20 years. She is survived by husband Melvin, two children, Cheri and Chelsea, and grandson Michael. Wake services will be held Friday, June 13, 2014, at Anderson Funeral Services 201 Sandford St., New Brunswick from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens in 771 Somerset St., Somerset.
