Lawrence (Larry) Chrzan, 42, of South Shumaker Street, Bremen, died July 21, 1993, at his home. Marshall County Coroner has ruled the death a suicide. A laborer for B.O.F. Plastics, he was also the owner of Larry's Place in Bourbon. He came to Bremen in 1970 from South Bend. A Vietnam U.S. Army veteran, he was a commander of the VFW Post #8972 of Bremen, a member of the American Legion Post #424 of Bourbon, 40 & 8 of Indiana and the National Rifle Association. He was born on June 21, 1951, in South Bend to Casmimir and Bessie (Dennison) Chrzan, Jr. He was married on April 8, 1972 in South Bend to Judy R. Huff. She survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Carla Chrzan of Bremen; his mother, Mrs. Bessie Hundt of Bremen; maternal grandmother, Alma Dennison of Bremen; one sister, Cherl Charzan of Bremen; and two brothers, Jerry and Gary J. Charzan, both of Bremen. Funeral services were held Saturday morning July 24 at Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen. Burial followed at Lutheran Cemetery in North Liberty. Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Association.
