James A. Schmok, 54, of Sunnyside Avenue, South Bend, IN, passed away at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 20, 2005, in Saint Joesph Regional Medical Center.

He was born on February 1, 1951 in South Bend to Edward Albert and Dorothy Irene (Suebedissen ) Schmok, who preceded him in death.  James is survived by a sister, Nancy Ann Schmok of South Bend; brothers, Charles Edward Schmok and Robert Dale Schmok both of South Bend; four nephews, Steven E. Schmok of South Bend, Scott A. Schmok of Dripping Springs, TX, Kenneth C. Schmok of Fishers, IN, and Kevin C. Schmok of McKinney, TX and by 11 great neices and nephews.

James was a lifetime member of Grace United Methodist Church.  Funeral was March 22 at St. Joesph Funeral Home.  Buriel will be Highland Cemetery, South Bend, IN.
