Charles David Eder

Charles David Eder, 71, passed away peacefully Saturday, October 31. He was born August 2, 1949 in South Bend, Indiana, the middle child of Beatrice and Samson Eder.

He graduated from Indiana University in 1971 and settled in South Bend Indiana, where he founded Acme Service Corporation and served as President until his retirement in 1998. He was actively involved in Temple Beth El and the Jewish Federation of South Bend. Upon retirement to Naples, Florida, he owned Regency Watersports on Marco Island.

A devoted family man, Charles is survived by Dvorah, his loving wife of 48 years; his siblings Linda (Ken) Sumner and Rob Eder, his children, Jennifer Eder of Naples, FL, Abby (Jeff) Koslow of Delray Beach, FL, and Kari (Rob) Ventura of Carmel, IN; and five adoring grandchildren.

A graveside family service will be held November 3. Contributions in Charless memory may be made to Temple Beth-El (South Bend), Temple Shalom (Naples), Avow Hospice (Naples), or a charity of your choice.
