Thomas Scott Botkin

Thomas Scott Botkin, 80, of Granger, Indiana passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025. He was born on October 27, 1945 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Emory C. and Eudora S. (Darter) Botkin. On January 20, 1968 he married Muriel Casper who survives. He is also survived by one daughter, Meaghan (Matt) Botkin-Clem of Monroeville, Indiana, one son, Joshua Botkin of Granger, Indiana, two grandchildren, Noah Clem and Shelby Botkin and one sister-in-law, Reggie Botkin. Thomas was also preceded in death by his brother, John Botkin.
Thomas was a 1964 graduate of Riley High School.
Thomas married his high school sweetheart Muriel Casper (Riley 1964) and they were married for fifty-eight years. He was a graduate of Indiana University and The University of Notre Dame Law School Cum Laude. He owned his own law firm and practiced in St. Joseph County for over thirty years. He served as the past president of various organizations that include The Michiana Soccer Association, Jr. Irish Soccer Club, St. Joseph County Election Board, and the St. Joseph County Airport Authority.
Private family services will be held. Thomas will be buried in Highland Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation or Bears in the Air in Thomas’s honor..png)
