Joseph G. Kocsis

March 1, 1919-April 9, 1995 

SOUTH BEND - Joseph G. Kocsis, 76, of South Olive Street, died at 1 a.m. Sunday in St. Joseph Care Center West after an illness.

Mr. Kocsis retired as an electrical contractor. He was born March 1, 1919, in South Bend. June 24, 1944, in South Bend, he married Erentrude "Trudy" Kwiatkowski. She survives with two daughters, Karol S. Piecuch of Winona Lake and Mary Joan Stauffer of Grand Rapids; four grandchildren; and a great grandchild.

He was a World War II veteran and a member of American Legion Pulaski Post 357.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. Cremation will take place. There will be no visitation. St. Joseph Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
