Donald Edward Hatfield

SOUTH BEND - Donald Edward Hatfield, 45, passed away at 1:52 am Tuesday, April 12, 2011 in Memorial Hospital. Donny was born on April 13, 1965 in South Bend to Robert and Judith (Basker) Hatfield.

He graduated from Riley High School in 1983 as class President. Donny loved the New York Yankees, to sing karaoke, play guitar, Clint Eastwood movies and never missed the weekly Lotto, but mostly, he loved hanging out with friends and family. He was employed by Miles Distributing for 13 years.

Surviving are his mother Judith Hatfield of South Bend; two sisters Susan Husen of West Olive, MI and Patty Lubelski of South Bend; two brothers John (Dawn) Hatfield and James Hatfield both of South Bend; sister-in-law Jenny Hatfield of South Bend and 10 nieces and nephews Ryan, Kyle, Carter, Christine, Terri, Ashley, Marissa, Andrew, Natalie, and Joshua. Donny was preceded in death by his father Robert Hatfield, a brother Gregory Hatfield and a brother-in-law Mike Husen.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am Saturday, April 16, 2011 in St. Matthew Cathedral. Cremation will follow.
