Dale L. Burkhart

Dale L. Burkhart, 69, of 927 E. Dayton St., died at 8:15 a.m. today in his home. He was retired from Ziebart Rustproofing Services.

He was born on Feb. 24, 1915, at Redwood Falls, Minn., and had lived in South Bend since 1921. On May 27, 1950, in South Bend, he married Winifred Bower. She died on June 26, 1981.

He is survived by a sister, Edith Faye Haney of Florida; and a nephew, Wallace Grabowski of California.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Emmaus Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St.
