Martha E. Hoyt, 96, of Opelika, AL, formerly of South Bend, IN passed away on March 19, 2014. She was born on June 5, 1917 in Fort Wayne, IN to the late James L. and Martha F. (Johnston) McComb.

On May 30, 1941 in South Bend, IN she was united in marriage to William W. Hoyt who preceded her in death on April 20, 1992.

Mrs. Hoyt is survived by her daughter, Christine Hoyt Sanchez of Opelika, AL; son, William L. Hoyt of South Bend, IN and several grandchildren.

Mrs. Hoyt has called Opelika, AL home for the last twenty years. She was a member of Father's House Christian Fellowship.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3817 S. Michigan St. South Bend, IN. Graveside services and burial will be follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, IN. Friends may visit one hour prior to the services.
