Dorothy A (Rosewicz) Rupel

Dorothy A. Rupel, 49, of 2050 Parkview Pl., died at 7 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Hospital, after a brief illness. She was bookkeeper for the Rupel Typesetting Corp., 320 Carroll She was born on July 14, 1917, in South Bend, residing here all of her life.

On July 24, 1937, she was married to John W. Rupel, who survives. Also surviving are her mother, Mrs. Clara May of South Bend; a son, Barry L., of South Bend; three daughters. Mrs. Bonnie M. McCullough of South Bend and the Misses Beverly J. and Barbara S., both at home; four grandchildren : and two sisters, Mrs. Robert Comer and Mrs. Donald Moore, both of South Bend.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at the Orvis Funeral Home. Services will be held there at 11 a.m. Friday, Rev. Wilson S. Parks, retired district superintendent of the Brethren Church, officiating. Entombment will be in Riverview Cemetery.

She was a member of Chapter 2, Order of Eastern Star, and a former Republican precinct committeewoman.
