Clem Warren Ritter

NILES - Memorial services for Clem W. Ritter, 70, of 2006 Ontario Road, formerly of South Bend, who died at 5:05 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Medical Center, South Bend, were to be today in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St., South Bend. Cremation was to take place at Michiana Crematory, South Bend. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph County (Ind.) Mental Health Association.

Mr. Ritter was a retired insurance adjuster from General Motors Acceptance Corp.

He was born June 25, 1917, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident. In December 1941, in South Bend, he married Elaine M. Nelson. She survives with a daughter, Lisa C. Ritter of Minneapolis, Minn.; a sister, Louise Koskey of Mishawaka; and five brothers, Francis E., Donn O., Joseph L., Archie D. and Charles L., all of South Bend.

He was a World War II veteran
