MISHAWAKA - Roseann, “GG” Dreibelbis (Singleton), 81, formerly of Mishawaka, spent the last year of her life in the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Tom Woodbridge, who lives in Indialantic, Florida. She was cared for by her children, Cathy, Brian, and Nancy until she passed away in her bed at 9:00pm, Wednesday, May 9, 2018 due to complications of ALS. Roseann was a happy person who was caring and giving. Having been the matriarch of her extended family, her life was full of joyful relationships. She was a chatty gal who loved life and brought a positive, fun energy to any room. She loved Notre Dame football, her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Roseann was born on March 14, 1937 in South Bend, Indiana, as the first daughter of William and Irma (Hegyi) Dreibelbis. She was part of the 1955 class of Riley High School.  On June 27, 1962, after serving in the Women's Army Corps, she married Donald Singleton, a Saint Joseph County Sheriff. Roseann volunteered as an EMT in the Lakeville and LaPaz area. She retired from E.T. Products in Bremen in 2016, where she worked in Accounts Receivable. Roseann was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother and sister-in-law, Nick and Dorothy Carlo; and sister and brother-in-law, Kathleen and Ronald Lesher. Also preceding her in death was a stepson, Donn Singleton and three grandchildren. Roseann is survived by her three children: Brian Troiola, Cathy (Tom) Woodbridge, and Nancy Singleton-Valentine; and her stepchildren: Terry (Joan) Singleton, Greg (Sandra) Singleton, Jeff Singleton, and Sherri (Mike Nagy) Singleton. Roseann is also survived by her brother, William (Jeanette) Dreibelbis; and a sister, Monica Eblen. She has many grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly. A Memorial Mass will be held at Little Flower Catholic Church, on Thursday, May 24, at 11:00am, with a gathering one hour prior, and will be followed by the interment of her ashes with her husband at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Memorial donations in Roseann's name may be made to the ALS Association, The Alzheimer's Association, or Health First Hospice of Melbourne, Florida. Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka, Indiana is assisting with the arrangements.
