Carolyn Sue Bucker, 49, of Pokagon Street in Mishawaka passed away after a long-term illness, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend on December 30, 1998 at 9:35 p.m. Carolyn was born on January 1, 1949 in Loneoak, Arkansas to Jessie O.Whitaker and Audrey Jones.

On July 15, 1967 in South Bend, Indiana she married Joseph R. Bucker. Carolyn leaves to cherish her memories, her loving husband; one son, Joseph W.R. (Rebecca) Bucker of Indianapolis, Ind.; two daughters; Kristi S. Bucker of Mishawaka, Ind. and Heather (Joshua) Leer of Swienfart, Germany; her mother, Audrey Whitaker of Elkhart, Ind.; two brothers Danny Whitaker of Osceola, Ind. and Larry (Alla) Whitaker of Elkhart, Ind.; two sisters, Mickie (Ronnie) Brink of Mishawaka, Ind. and Barbara (Bernie) Brink of lowa and two loving grandchildren, McKenzie Leer and Delaney Bucker.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her father.

Friends may visit Chapel Hill Funeral Home from 4 to 8 today. Funeral services will be on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in Chapel Hill Funeral Home with the Reverend C. Quantz officiating. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola, Ind.
