Dicky New, one of the Kenna Homes kids, left us too soon.  He suffered from things most could not imagine and things picked up during Military Service.  He grew after leaving the Military and was a total shock to see at our 35th Reunion when he was eye-to-eye with most in the class.  He had a Beautiful family in 1996, but suffered more than he could handle.

Dicky was a Manager for most Sports in HS.  I have a Picture carrying him to see a Nurse at a Track Meet.  I had tossed a Shot into the Air and Dicky walked under it.  It hit him squarely on the head.  The Picture has me wearing his Hat [probably saved him major harm].  We were Juniors.  I was wearing My 1960 Varsity Jacket that I would love to have today.  It Disappeared?

May His Memory Be Eternal.

Richard had more to do when I talked to him at our 35 reunion. St Paul writes in Romans 8:38-39 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. That is good news for all even on our bad boxed in days.  Lynn Wilbur
