Shawn Anthony Morton, 47, of Oakland, Tenn., born February 15, 1971, in South Charleston, W.Va., departed this life on October 30, 2018.

He was a graduate of South Charleston High School, Marshall University, and The University of Tennessee with a Master's degree.

Left to cherish so many wonderful memories are his beautiful children, Mahlon Morton and his love Kiara Odom of Wilmington, N.C., Amber Morton, Mikey Morton, Meili Morton, Maddox Morton, Mason Morton, and Malala Morton, all of Oakland, Tenn.; his mother, Susan Davidson Morton of Louisville, Ky.; father, John and step mom, Tamijean Morton of South Charleston, W.Va.; his brothers, Travis Morton and his wife Barrie of Charleston, W.Va., and Justin Morton and his wife Lahnna of San Diego, California.

He was an amazing father, husband, son, brother, and friend and will be missed by all.
