Bryan Graley VIEW PROFILE

Bryan David Graley of South Charleston passed away December 30, 2024, after a short illness. Bryan was born August 22, 1970. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Sue Graley. He is survived by his father Harold “Hooks” Graley of South Charleston, Stephen (Robin) of Kanawha City, Julie Whittington (Bryan) of Hurricane and nephew and niece, Brayden and Bella Whittington. 

Bryan graduated from South Charleston High School where he played football, basketball and baseball. He attended WV Tech and played basketball and baseball. He also attended WV State University. 

Bryan relocated for a short time to Dayton, OH. He then made his home in St. Paul, MN for 25 years. There, while working in the hospitality industry, he found a group of remarkable, free spirited and warmhearted friends who became a second family on Grand Avenue, Selby Avenue and West 7th Street. 

Bryan touched many lives and had everlasting friendships, especially Michael Lore, Chuck Mason and John Bumgarner that remain part of his South Charleston family. 

After his return to West Virginia, Byran continued his career in the hospitality industry, enjoying his time at Embassy Suites in Charleston.
