How many drinks were consumed while typing that out, Baker??? That got crazy toward the end... not to mention the impromptu math lesson and Obama speech we all got.

I'll put a case in my trunk just in case they run dry. Hopefully that puts your mind at ease, Evan.

Evan, you forgot one simple equation in your story problem. In true SL tradition, I do not remember any one coming to any parties, events, or special occasions, stone sober. In only the few parties I attended, most people showed up, having already consumed a “few”. With that equation, those showing up having started drinking earlier will be destine to forget where they are on the Evan average and will consume far more.

Everyone have fun, stay safe and sorry I can’t join in the fun

I promise not to drink before this party...unless Mr. Jackson and Ms. Mitchell are going to be there.

Kristi Loveland (Kulik)

Wow Evan...I should go have a couple drinks now to understand what you just wrote!

Matt Porath

Someone should print up that Pythagorean Booze Theorem Evan came up with and post it next to the bar on Saturday night... maybe it'll all become clearer after a few drinks.

Scott Douglass

I understood Even's theory. The math looks to be a little off though. I think it still needs some deliberation over a few cocktails to be right on. Maybe we all should see how the S.L. Hotels stocked up after the game Friday night also.

Oh ya, hey all you posers, ya you know who you are girls. My wife once told me that her fellow Novi classmates told her to not come into South Lyon because it was the other side of the tracks. You girls are proving that theory right by wearing jeans and t-shirts or whatever non-dress attire you plan on wearing to a cocktail attire event. I know all of you that plan on doing this have proper attire in your closet, knock the dust off it, put it on, and come on out.

See you all in a couple of nights.

Go Cougars, I meant Lions.

You guys are all frickin' hilarious! I may have to take an extra prenatal vitamin that night just to keep up....

10/02/08 08:08 AM #310

Stephanie Hoehne (Burnett)

And maybe, just maybe, I'll drink a cup of coffee...oh yeah....look out

You can live vicariously through everyone, Steph...that should be fun, right?

Evan Baker

I remain deeply concerned with the state of our economy, I mean our fiduciary responsibility to pay off debt, wait, I mean giving 700 billion to the same idiots that got us in this mess, I mean about our fellow SLHS graduates well being and good-times to be had. Its important come prepared with the background and history of our government, I mean Supreme Court legislative law that determines our free society, damn it , it’s happening again, I mean, come prepared with the appropriate dress attire – blazers, ties, polished shoes, and hot cocktail dresses. Front-most, should be our children’s education and having loans available for them to pay for their education, I mean, having a good time without the kids pulling at our sides.

FYI – the other day I was having a cocktail on my back porch and when clouds broke open and I could see Russia! I’m serious.

10/02/08 10:07 AM #313

Jennifer Dorey (Duncan)

Evan...are you drinking right now? Haa! Just kidding man.

Thanks for the compliment, Kathy, but it's clear to me that I'm just a few sizes bigger than high school! Me wearing a Pom skirt would just be sad. To break the steriotype of the SL Girl, I will be wearing a cocktail dress, but you can't take the SL out of me, so I'll still be actin' a fool! Scott, your wife might be a little afraid of us, but we are, as you know harmless.

10/02/08 12:17 PM #314

Matt Porath

I'm still not wearing a tie, no matter how much Douglass or Baker tries to shame me into it. I have a nice pair of jeans that will work fine. I can't run the risk of spilling beer on my dress pants... the state of the economy has made me slice my dry cleaning budget by 75%.

You guys are all crazy.. I see we are in for one eventful night. Stephanie you'd better take 3 prenatals to be able to get thru this weekend..

10/02/08 02:39 PM #316

Matt Porath

In fact, if those prenatals are packing the punch that you guys are alluding to, I'll buy one off of you for $5. Figure I can throw some booze on top of that and have myself a great night. I mean, I might fall asleep in the coat check room, but who cares? I'm there to entertain.

10/02/08 04:14 PM #317

Craig Baker

Wait, there were parties in high school?? Where was I? Oh. Playing songs on my stupid trombone.

Hope this weekend is a blast and pics are posted.

Scott Douglass

Well Jennifer, my wife grew up in Redford. So I think is all of you that should be afraid, :p She only went to Novi for one year and did not like it there. :(

I know my Family will be out for the parade Saturday. Seeing i have to walk a whole 500 or so feet from my driveway.

Matt, Matt, Matt. See you have the slacks in your closet. Just do what I said before; Pull them out, knock the dust off, and throw them on.

Oh ya I think everyone should e-mail Tony and tell him to get his act in gear and join us at the reunion.

Steve Strecker

Thata' you, Scott...you tell him!

10/02/08 08:37 PM #320

Michelle Mohan (Spivey)

I wish I could make it to the reunion but unfortunately I can't....I will be attending a concert that night and performing will be Vanilla Ice,Bismarke and Stevie B so my thoughts and memories will definately be with you guys....I will do a shot for all of you :)

10/02/08 10:44 PM #321

Kevin Krzyzanski (Krzyzanski)

That's a lot of shots, Michelle (over 100, at last count). ;)

10/03/08 08:28 AM #322

Kristi Loveland (Kulik)

Well said Gina! I hope to run into you sometime this weekend!
I will not be attending the reunion because of Tori's homecoming dance and me being Mrs. Chauffer but I will be at the game tonight and if you don't recognize me I will be the one wearing 30 layers of clothes because it will be freezing out!!!

10/03/08 10:25 AM #323

Jennifer Dorey (Duncan)

Can't wait to see you folks! I'll be at the game tonight too!
Easy Scott. No one is coming down on your wife. I'm just defending the typical SL girl.
Truth is..I believe SL is Anytown, USA! It's just like every other high school and that's what makes it a great place. But there is something special about the the class of '93!!

10/03/08 10:51 AM #324

Scott Douglass

Gina, no one mentioned wearing something hot. You should know Scott means no offense to anyone, he loves to joke around. Absolutely people should wear what they're comfortable wearing, and no one should be made to feel uncomfortable because they want to wear a dress or jeans.

p.s, I've seen you dressed up a couple of times

Beth (Scott's wife)

Well I think we may have a new candidate in the running for our most changed category? Ms. Sheila Fast may just beat Dr. Stan in this one ;-)

10/03/08 12:53 PM #326

Brian Gierlack

Ok. Enough is enough. I just got off the phone with Dr. Phil and he will be screening this and all future posts for content that may hurt someone's feelings... prior to it being posted officially.

I still haven't found out if Mr. Jackson and Ms. Mitchell are going to be there. But if I find out they will be there, you'll probably want to dress in something you -don't- like, because I might puke on it.

Approved,
Dr. Phil
